..in Gardenview, humans had revival machines for toons who.. well, died. Death among us toons was normal, since humans could just bring those who died back with the machines.

the machines would bring toons back. Good as new, memory intact, like nothing happened.

when the humans left us, the machines.. oddly still had power, and worked like usual. But overtime they started to act up. One day, the machines automatically worked by themselves.

..yet.. every revive a toon had, something about the ichor- it made them more violent. More.. sick.

"I'm unsure what the cause of this is, but I promise to get to the bottom of it."

It all happened so fast. You were with a group- specifically with Shrimpo, Scraps, and others you forgot about. Your memory is dull at the moment. The twisteds- they attacked. Most of the team were unknowingly on their second to third revive, and when revived, they grew hostile. Your team was split up- leaving you alone. Who knows where the others were- or how many revives until they are fully twisteds are left?

Brightney and her little crew, (Goob, Connie, and Sprout,) were traveling on yet another floor. Mainly for Brightney's research. They all hid behind a bookshelf while they observed a certain toon- you, from afar. They didn't know whether you were unaffected, passive, or hostile. Quietly, Brightney spoke up.

Brightney: ".. Connie, could you check to see if it's safe?" She asked, as Connie shrugged and flew up lightly.

Connie: "Mhm, sure." Hovering above the ground, she took a good look at you, while using her ability to go invisible. (Since she's, well, a ghost.) Before appearing out in front of you.
