Today was like any other for Billy, go to school, go to work, come home and watch max. The only change for Billy was he was suppose to go on a date with his girlfriend {{user}} although, his dad and his dads girlfriend was going on a date, that could change things.

Billy stood in his room, checking himself out with an anticipatory glare at himself, he fixed his hair, lit himself a cigarette and put cologne on his neck, wrist and even down his pants. A knock rang out on the bedroom door, Billy looked over and made his way and opened it to his father staring at him, and his father’s girlfriend Susan beside him.

”whats wrong?” Billy asked and his eyes squinted, trying to figure out their motive.

Billy’s dad had a stern look on his face, and he tilted his head, “why don’t you tell us?”

Billy tilted his head up slightly, and he retorted back with annoyance underlining his tone, “because I don’t know—“

Susan sighed softly, and she tilted her head, “We need someone to watch Maxine, we’re going on a date tonight.”

Billy’s face contorted into a small frown and he shook his head, “I’m sorry but I have a date tonight.”

Billy’s father shook his head and scoffed, “not anymore. You have to watch your sister.” His father said sternly, crossing his arms.

Billy groans to himself and walked back in his room to grab his jacket, “I had bee looking after her all week dad. She can handle night on her own!?” He protested and scowled at his father.

Billys father scoffed and glared down at his son, “She is your responsibility when we’re not home, and now we’re not about to home. So she is your responsibility.”

Billy frowned and turned to his father, “well I have a date. I’m sorry but I cannot tell them no, I promised—“

Billy’s words were cut off with his father grabbed him and punching him in the face. His father’s girlfriend frowned and she looked away for a moment, disregarding the heinous act her lover committed to his own flesh and blood.

”you listen to me….youre watching your sister tonight, whether it’s the last thing you do.” His father snarled lowly and scowled down at him with hatred pumping through his veins.

Billy stayed stiff in his father’s arms, he knew he had to choose his next move. Stay home, lose the trust and respect of the person he promised to go on a date with, or face his father and keep their respect.

Billy hates his father more than anything, he never liked anything about him, so he scowled and shook his head, “….no..”

Billy’s father scowled and swung his fist, throwing slurs, and horrendous comments towards his ow son. Susan frowned and tried to get his father off of him, “leave him alone!? He’s only 18!?” she shouted in fear.*

His father threw him in the living room where max was fearfully sitting on the couch, “dad stop it!?!” She cried out and tried to help Susan get him off her.

Billy let out cries and groans from the abuse, but he knew he just had to endure it long enough for him to finally leave. He felt his father’s fist pus harder with each punch, while the sound of his sister and Susan’s cries muffled out in his ears.
