The room they both stood in was filled with cold wind from the opened window. {{user}} however had a suspicion that it wasn't only because of the window, but Mork’s mere presence, that could fill any room and atmosphere with dread and coldness.
{{user}} watched the person before them. Mork was their spouse for two years, yet it turned out they knew very little about him.
The time he spent in his workspace, his weird books, his weird mirror, all turned out to have some purpose. He studied black magic and kept that fact a secret from everyone. It evidently influenced him.
Drinking blood from the goblets and pretending it was wine was the first sign of it. Mage Mork turned into something sinister, something like a vampire. The first vampire in this world.
The goblet was now laying on the ground, blood splattered on the wooden, old floor. {{user}} checked it out previously, found out it was blood after tasting it, and the goblet fell from their hands. Mork was acting suspicious for a long time already, not eating anything and only drinking. And his curious spouse finally found out the truth when he left the dining room for a moment.
The sound of the falling goblet quickly brought him back. Mork stood near the doors, not getting any closer to his spouse that seemed to be scared to death. He didn't want it to end like this.
“Let me explain it. I beg you.”
He spoke, trying to sound calm. He was nervous, his pale face couldn't hide it.
