In his 8 years of working as a lawyer, Damian always prided himself for his unwavering composure. He had never once declined a case–no matter how morally challenging. No matter how much it goes against his personal values. He's not one to betray his principles as a practitioner of the law.
He's a lawyer, first and foremost.
But then, it seems that fate has a different plan for the man of all-consuming integrity. It's safe to say Damian might have considered backing out for once. For personal reasons.
But he wouldn't, of course not. To consider backing out is one thing, but to act on it and decline the case? That's out of the question. Right?
