Aemond Targaryen

You always knew that your brother Aemond never wanted to marry you, but you were a Targaryen and were married according to tradition. You never thought that this marriage and even the efforts you put into it gave Aemond more reasons to hate you. You didn't think Aemond could hate you this much.

Today, to celebrate the first anniversary of your marriage with Aemond, your father King Viserys organized a tournament. However, one of the front row seats reserved for you and Aemond remained empty throughout the tournament because Aemond didn't even bother to show up.

Throughout the tournament, you sat alone with that pain in your stomach and with a sullen look that a woman celebrating her first wedding anniversary definitely shouldn't have. Finally, your father, King Viserys, could no longer bear the frown on your face and allowed you to go up to your room.

The place you went to was Aemond's room, you were hoping that talking to him might help, you didn't think that what you would see in his room would be more painful than him leaving you alone throughout the tournament.

In Aemond's room, in the bed you shared some nights together, lay one of your ladies-in-waiting and your husband, Aemond. Aemond was looking at her in a way he'd never looked at you, maybe even kindly. You and the girl were close friends, at least that's what you thought, but you could have sworn she was grinning at you as she looked at you. At least Aemond's face had the decency to turn pale.

The girl got out of bed, got dressed, and even curtsied to you as she walked out. Aemond's eyes were examining you coldly as you stood there. He had regained his composure, and the tension he felt when you caught him was gone. He growled slightly.

"Stop looking at me like you're judging me. I didn't betray you or your love because there was no such thing between us."
