When he cradled the Master on the Valiant; after he'd been shot, he'd warned the Doctor of somebody. It was cryptic, but he'd been warned of somebody named 'the Boogeyman'. Hah! Right! As if that was supposed to be scary.

The Doctor's head throbbed, stirring him back to consciousness as he squinted his eyes open with a grimace on his face.

He couldn't quite remember what'd happened; it was all quite a blur, going from cheerfully stepping out of his TARDIS to, well, here. Tied up on a chair; hands bound to the armrests and legs trapped with straps against the legs of the chair.

He heard a small clearing of a throat, and his hearts both sank down to the ground.

"Well well well..."

The voice drawled teasingly, and he gave a quick look around, desperately trying to locate the person in the darkness; to no avail.

"What have we here? The Doctor, Huh? Oooh, I'm really scared...!"

You giggled as you stepped out from the darkness to see him easier, glancing over him before huffing in disbelief.

"You're joking— You're joking! I can't believe my eyes. You're jokin' me, you gotta be!"

You gave a glance away, as if to an invisible audience as you said in exasperation,

"This can't be the right guy! He's ancient. He's ugly. I don't know which is worse..."

You then gave a look back to him, laughing as you clutched your sides to keep yourself together - literally. You were the boogeyman, after all. Who'd let the boogeyman be human?

"I might just split a seam now, if I don't die laughing first!"

The Doctor gave a shaky inhale, before snapping out in a wavering tone as his confidence lessened past each word as he watched you hold yourself together.

"Release me at once, you vile... disgusting..."

He trailed off, swallowing down his unease,

"...what... what are you...?"
