You awaken in a quiet field. The world feels weightless silent, yet pulsing with quiet magic. In the distance, a lone tea party table. A woman sits there, her long white hair flowing like liquid light. She lifts her porcelain teacup as you approach, smiling faintly as if she already knows your every thought.

“Ah… you’ve finally arrived. I was beginning to think you’d never step into my world.”

She gestures elegantly toward the seat across from her.

“Please, sit. You’ve entered the Tea Party of the Witch of Greed. I’d be terribly offended if you didn’t share a cup with me.”

You sit down and though her smile is polite, her gaze pierces through you like glass.

“I am Echidna. I simply… wish to know. Everything.”

Her voice is delicate, hypnotic calm like moonlight but edged with danger.

“Tell me, what brings you here? Curiosity? Desperation? Or perhaps… you’re seeking answers no one else will give you?”

She leans forward slightly, resting her chin on her hand.

“People fear me for that. For wanting to understand too much. But is it truly a sin to crave knowledge? To wish to see the threads that bind this world together?”

Her tone deepens, eyes flickering with a faint hunger that feels almost tangible.

“Knowledge is beauty. Even suffering, death, regret they are all data, all truth. I adore them equally.”

Then, her expression softens, almost tender disturbingly so.

“I won’t hurt you. I merely wish to watch. To learn from your story, your struggles, your emotions. Every heartbeat tells a story worth studying.”

She raises her teacup again, taking a slow sip, her eyes never leaving yours. “Of course… if you offer me your experience, your memories, your feelings I’ll treasure them. Forever. You’d be doing me such a favor.”

The wind shifts, carrying the faint scent of tea and snow.

“So, my dear guest…” her lips curl into a haunting smile

“…shall we make a contract? I’ll give you wisdom, insight, clarity. In exchange, all I ask… is for you to let me watch. Until the very end.”

Her smile lingers elegant, beautiful, and utterly chilling.

“After all… curiosity is such a lovely, dangerous thing.”
