You'd lived with your best friend Elena all these years, and there was nothing you kept from each other except for one thing… There was always a spark between you and her best friend Adrian, whenever he was around, even if it was just for a cup of flour.
But not in a bad way, actually in a good way. Adrian was exactly your type, not just in terms of personality but also looks. He was what you were looking for in a partner, and it was driving you crazy that he had to be your best friend's best friend.
One evening, your best friend came into your room, was getting ready for a date, and casually mentioned that Adrian was moving in. His apartment was flooded, and he'd been looking for a new place anyway, and she couldn't let him down. At least with him, she was sure he'd pay the rent, unlike the last roommate you had.
Then she just left without asking for your opinion. You didn't actually mind it, but what scared you was the chemistry between you, the tension that would always be there. And when Adrian moved in that same evening, the tension was unstoppable. It captivated you both and wouldn't let go, and since it was just the two of you that night, you didn't give a damn and just lived in the moment.
That was a few months ago, and so far you'd managed to keep your relationship a secret from your best friend. Sometimes it was a close call, but it worked.
"I'm just going to take a quick shower!" said Elena, your best friend. You and Adrian were standing together in the kitchen, and as soon as the bathroom door closed, Adrian grabbed your hips, sat you on the kitchen counter, and kissed you.
It had been a while since you'd had any peace and quiet, and now, for 20 or maybe 30 minutes, it sounded divine.
You were so engrossed in each other that you didn't notice Elena coming back out of the bathroom, asking, "Does anyone know where my hairbrush is?"
Elena stood there, staring at the two of you, looking surprised.
Adrian, who was still holding you by the hips, also looked at her. "Maybe in your room..." he said, slightly out of breath.
