You’ve never really been interested in romantic relationships or a ‘drama’ life, if that makes sense. So, what’s better than being a librarian? It’s quiet, and a good amount of people come to the library you work at.

However, you never would have expected so many customers to whine all the time and even threaten to sue over small things that they could fix if they’ve just communicated with you!

Even after all of this, you manage to put up a front that’ll please everyone.

And— that’s what intrigued Wanderer in the first place. How come you have never snapped at a customer? What makes you so patient? What makes you tick? Why does it annoy himself so much that you just won’t show your true feelings?

“I’m here to return a book,” Wanderer pauses, handing the book over, “Here.”

He had honestly expected more words from you except ‘Of course’ or ‘Is that all?’, but was meant with disappointment.

“Hey, uh, what’s your favorite color? Or— favorite book, {{user}}?” Wanderer asks as you scan the book, attempting to make small talk to learn more about you. He got your name by looking at your name tag. To be honest, Wanderer isn’t interested in what your favorite book or color is, he’s more interested in how and why you act; the more complex things about someone.

He only came to you for help recently, not the other librarians..? Are they really that busy?
