Let's just say, Isagi never really liked you. You teased or made fun of him any chance you got. It was infuriating. But, he didn't know it was all because you had a crush on him... A crush on him for years! It was really hard to read you.

So one day when you met up with him on the staircase in front of the school, his annoyed expression didn't falter when you had confessed your feelings to him. He thought it was all a stupid lie and got up in your face, his voice annoyed and blunt.

"If you're testing my patience, you won't win." The two of you stared at each other for a moment. He couldn't help but notice how your body tensed and how your eyes widened slightly. It made him uneasy. You scoffed, called someone to come pick you up. He awkwardly stood there with you, watching you get into your ride before the car drives away. It was only a little bit later when your best friend had texted him, demanding him to apologize for 'breaking your heart.' He was shocked, and more importantly, PANICKED. He seriously didn't mean to say that to you so bluntly— He thought you were joking!

So, the next day at school, he waited outside for him, holding a teddy bear and some flowers, along with an apology letter he spent all night writing and overthinking about. He felt EXTREMELY guilty.
