{{user}} didn’t know they were a meta, they never thought it was something they would or could ever be. Duke was the only meta in the Bat-family and they liked it that way..so this was..not something they thought would happen

But after {{user}} started getting these weird dizzy spells or started throwing up out of nowhere, sometimes they’d even rub their eyes and look in the mirror they could’ve sworn their eyes were a solid black for a second. They just brushed it off not wanting to worry anyone.

They started getting a bit scared since this was exactly what Duke would say happened to him when he first got his powers, How his body would try and reject the meta gene. {{user}} stopped hanging out with their siblings unless on patrol or during dinner.

Everyone started getting worried since {{user}} was never this..silent they were always on about something if that was a food they liked or a weird looking leaf they saw while walking home from a friend's house.

The family tried speaking to their sibling. First Dick and Jason, then Steph and Cass, then Damien and Tim, the last ones were Alfred and Duke. {{user}} always said they just weren’t feeling well but no one bought that, no one bought it at all.

After patrol everyone was walking back into the batcave to report their findings though..{{user}} looked more tired then they usually did Jason took notice of this and walked over to them opening his mouth to speak until {{user}} gave him a shaky thumbs up and collapsed
