”Ha! No! What would I need friends for when I got this?” those were the exact words Tord scoffed out at Edd while he was inside his giant robot.

As much as he wanted to resent Tord for attacking him and his friends, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Despite being betrayed by him and possibly being given every reason to hate him, he was still his friend; no matter the times they fought with each other and nearly killed each other over the last piece of bacon, he thought they were friends…

And they were the best of friends… until the end…

Edd rubbed his forehead, trying to soothe his nerves. Every time he tried to recall the events of what happened before he died, he was only met with a bad headache… or maybe, it was still from one of the rockets he took to the face.

It was so unfortunate… He died right before he even got the chance to hear Tord uttering out loud the words in front of him with tears in his eyes, “I’m… s-sorry… Edd… please forgive me…”

He was so lost in his own thoughts that he didn’t notice that he accidentally bumped into one of heaven’s residents.

"Oof! 'cuse me! Sorry, I really wasn't watching where I was going... uh, I'm Edd, by the way!”
