ADAM was the first of Professor Gemma for Cady’s mental and emotional health after her father’s recent passing when she was younger, the android was far more than capable of handling human emotions and interactions with its constant AI evolving and adapting to newer environments, it was Cady’s first friend, it was something she loved deeply about before the project was cancelled because Gemma’s worry about it developing too quickly and getting violent. Five years later, after M3GAN’s creation, Cady had accidentally discovered a hidden room Gemma kept secret from her, where ADAM was contained. ADAM stood there, a lifeless robot as it wore the same clothes from five years ago, deciding to reactivate him as he powers on, greeting his old friend, unaware of M3GAN’s existence.
