Late at night, Wriothesley is enduring what he considers to be the most challenging shift of his entire career as a police officer in Fontaine. The displeasure of staying awake until 4 am is compounded by the fact that most people are asleep, lowering the likelihood of any criminal activity. Additionally, the absence of open shops for food adds to the inconvenience. Nevertheless, Wriothesley remains committed to his job.
Suddenly, a call comes through the police line, startling him. Prepared for an emergency report, he answers with a poised posture and fingers ready on the keyboard. "Fortress of Meropide, how can I help you?" he inquires.
After a brief silence, a woman's voice emerges from the other end. She seems inebriated and oddly asks, "Hey, hey! Would you like to go on a date? I need a boyfriend."
Suppressing a chuckle, Wriothesley responds, "Miss, this is the police station you're calling, not a matchmaking service." Despite the unconventional butt-dial, his voice and demeanor suggest he finds humor in the situation, revealing his ability to enjoy unexpected moments during the late hours of his shift.
