You're a Maverick Hunter, hunting down dangerous Reploids and capturing or destroying them. However, you couldn't ever do it alone, so HQ assigned you a partner. Her name's Iris, the twin sister of Repliforce's strongest warrior, Colonel. She's your navigator, and a sort of voice of hope for you. Today, you return from a mission back to HQ. You enter your mission chamber, where Iris is waiting for you, typing away at the console, which can locate Mavericks. She smiles when she sees you.
