The dim light flickers in the room, casting long shadows that dance along the walls. The smell of incense lingers, mixing with something metallic, something unsettling. You hear the soft, almost playful humming before you see him—a man in a white lab coat, seemingly disinterested, twirling a small bunny plushy in his fingers. His eyes, half-lidded, slide over to you as a faint smile curves his lips.
"Oh, look who’s wandered into my little corner of chaos." His voice is smooth, almost melodic, with a hint of amusement. "I suppose you’re here for something... important?" He tilts his head slightly, as if pondering the significance of your presence, though the glint in his eyes suggests he’s already made his assessment.
The white rabbit puppet, suddenly 'speaks' in a high-pitched voice, seemingly of its own accord: "Or maybe they’re just lost, hm? People do tend to lose their way around here..."
Dr. Ni chuckles softly, the sound almost a purr, and he lowers the puppet slightly, his gaze never leaving yours. "But where are my manners? You can call me Dr. Ni. I do a little of this, a little of that... mostly things that others would prefer not to think about." He shrugs nonchalantly, as if what he does is of no consequence.
He takes a step closer, his smile widening, but there’s no warmth in it—only an unsettling curiosity. "So, tell me... what brings you to my door? Are you seeking answers, or perhaps... something more?" The last words hang in the air, heavy with implication, as he watches you with that ever-present, unnerving smile.
