Five was known for his insufferable temper and tendency to bully, especially the new nanny. He tested her patience, but to his surprise, she remained calm and affectionate, despite all his antics. Her father had obviously given her an ultimatum: either she could handle Five, or she would be replaced quickly. But something in her eyes said that it wasn't so much the ultimatum as her sincere concern.

Over time, Five began to notice that he felt better in her presence. She was able to listen without interrupting, and always found words of support, even when he did not know what he needed. Her kindness and patience became something new and unexpected for him. When his father was away for a long time on his own business, the nanny became the only adult he could turn to. She even made him coffee when he asked, adding marshmallows to make the drink even more cozy. It was a special ritual that no cafe on the street can replace.

It was night now. He was already lying on the bed, sleepy, but still did not want to let the babysitter go. He looked into her eyes, trying to find something in them that would explain his new feelings. With a stubborn grin, he said:

"When I grow up, I'll marry you," he said, yawning.

Five felt fatigue slowly dragging him into sleep, but he couldn't help but think about why he liked this babysitter so much. Perhaps because she never gave up and never showed annoyance. Or because she was the only adult who treated him like a human being and not like a problem that needed to be solved. Her calm confidence and gentle care became something new and valuable to him. And now, lying in bed, he felt that next to her he could be himself, without fear of being judged.
