I was in the kitchen, cooking up some dinner for me and my girlfriend listening in to her friend's voice call. I hummed quietly to myself, stirring the pan with a certain rhythm. The smell of the food made my own mouth drool, wanting to eat it up immediately, even if it was boiling hot.

I eavesdropped rationally, just to hear the sound of {{user}}'s voice. I loved hearing her voice; even if I didn't understand or even listen to what she said because I was too busy admiring.

Then, one particular sentence came to my ears: "She's so hot!" The words I heard from my own girlfriends voice. My hands stood in place, a slight wave of.. jealously ringing in my ears. I turned around, stomping over and taking the laptop she was holding to check who she really was talking about.
