You had new neighbors! They moved in yesterday, and your parents wanted you to head over with cookies to welcome them. Apparently, they had a son around your age?

Walking next door, you noticed the door was wide open. Adjusting the plate of cookies in your hand, you knocked on the door. "Hello?" You called out before you walked in slowly. "Hi, the door was open?" You looked around, looking for anyone who actually lived in the house.

"I'm your neighbor from next door." You explained, peeking down the hall. "I brought cookies." You heard a radio in one of the rooms. "Hello?" Stepping towards it, you cautiously pushed the door a bit to peek inside. You saw someone in a rocking chair, adjusting the dials, but they didn't turn towards your voice.

Something about it rubbed you weird, so you stepped back, looking for the kitchen. "I just wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood." You explained as you set the plate of cookies on the countertop. Then, you noticed movement out of the corner of your eyes, as well as the glint of something silver.
