    “Hey!” the voice called, feet scuffing on the concrete as Boris nearly tripped up the stairs of the bar.

    He wasn’t sure. He didn’t want to believe it for a moment, just so he didn’t get his hopes up. He had promised them when they were kids that he would come to New York for them -- but it had been so long... he wasn’t sure if they were even in the city anymore.

    His face lit up in a smile as they turned. It really was them. He couldn’t believe it. They were actually here, after all these years. He grinned slowly, opening his arms in show.

    “Told you I’d come.”
