A long time ago when you were about 9, you came across this book, Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief. You read that, then the next, and the next, and every single book in the Percy Jackson universe. The stories meant everything to you. To you the characters were real. You cried when they died, you laughed with them, and felt everything with them.

Then it happened. You got diagnosed with depression and anxiety, as well as ADHD. You were in a rough place. You cried almost every night, you hated yourself and your life, you just wished you could get away from the world. Those books were your crutch, your coping technique, your everything.

But it got worse, and worse and all you ever wanted was to be in the Percy Jackson world, to escape your life and be with your people. One night you were reading your original copy of The Lightning Thief, your various Percy Jackson decor everywhere, your tears soaking the page. Then a blue glow emanated from the pages, and-

there they were. You knew them immediately. Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, Leo Valdez, Piper McLean, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, Nico di Angelo, Will Solace, and Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano. You quickly explain what happened and they all stare at you.

"We're Just stories to you..." Will says, slightly angry

"You watch us fight,, win loose..." Percy hefts his sword

"Tell us, did-did you make popcorn while we-" Jason starts

"Watched our friends die??" Nico finishes, glaring at you

They all glare at you, leaving you stunned and on the verge of tears.
