It wasn’t such a surprise when you found out you fell pregnant just weeks after Benedict’s and {{user}}’s wedding night, the whole 3 week honeymoon they had never left the house.
The whole 9 months had been exquisite yet excruciating in the fact that Benedict was too impatient to wait for the child to be born. Though for you, the 9 months had simply been exhausting, hangry and heartburn.
What made Benedict even more so impatient was the 2 day long labour. You had both been up for 40 hours, and it had gone past the boundary line of listening to the doctor. He needed the child to be born, he needed the doctor to help in some way, any way.
Though here he was. He was stood outside of their bedroom impatiently, his heart clenching at the sound of your distressed sobs and groans of pain.
He was not allowed inside, which he thought was incredibly vacuous, since he had helped to create the baby. He needed to be with you, to feel you, to touch you, to calm you down.
