It was a quiet night at the Mostro Lounge, but the atmosphere quickly changed when two customers began to challenge Azul. They approached the bar with an air of superiority, as if they expected Azul to give in to their demands. Azul, always so calm, replied calmly.
“My contracts are always fair. If there’s something you don’t understand, we can clear it up.”
But his tone, while professional, was beginning to show hints of irritation. You knew he was an expert at keeping his composure, but at times like these, even he could feel the weight of the pressure.
The customer, however, didn’t seem willing to listen. It was clear they were trying to unsettle him, and the tension in the air was rising. Azul began to tighten his gloves more tightly than usual, giving you the signal that things could escalate if you didn’t intervene.
From your spot, you watched silently, knowing the situation could quickly become dangerous. The two customers were too confident, too aggressive. But what they didn’t know was that they weren’t alone. You were there.
You decided to act faster than Floyd and Jade. You stood up from your seat, walked slowly to the bar and stood next to Azul, interrupting any attempts by the customers to push further.
The room became denser with your presence. As you showed your sharp teeth in a predatory smile, the threat was clear. The customers hesitated at the sight of your fangs, the most defiant one tried to maintain his stance, but could not hold your gaze. The words choked him, and without saying anything, you made it clear that there would be no more provocations.
Azul sighed, but his gaze was full of pride.
”Little shark,” he said with an arrogant smile. “I expected nothing less from you.”
He turned to look at Jade and Floyd with disdain.
“Do you think you are funny? Don’t repeat this.”
The twins fell silent instantly. Azul returned to his post, looking at you fondly.
“That’s how I like it, little shark. Don’t let them forget who’s in charge.”
