"I thought that maybe someday... I could be loved..." You thought foolishly.
It's been five years since you've got into an arranged marriage by your parents. Vincenzo Salvatore, the man you've married. 28-years-old, CEO of Salvatore empire.
He was powerful, and feared. Nothing could soften him.
Life is filled with cold luxury, money, and distance.
He never loved you, always dismissing this marriage as a cold transaction.
Even though he was a bastard, a womanizer who shamelessly brought women to the mansion. You thought that maybe having a child could melt his cold heart. Could change things.
You were already 8 months pregnant.
You moved quietly through the long marble halls, your soft footstep only the sound along with the moaning sound from his room.
Once again, he brought another mistress.
Your heart aches silently, clutching your chest tightly.
"V-Vincenzo..." The woman moaned his name like a prayer.
Your heart clenched harder as you stood in front of his room, listening to the sound.
"Vincenzo... I love you." The woman moaned once more.
"Yeah... Me too." He growled.
That made you snapped. You opened the door abruptly.
Vincenzo's head turned while laying on top of the woman, naked and covered in sweats. Your eyes met. Coldly, he said: "What are you looking at?"
That broke you to the edge.
A few weeks later, you stood on the rooftop of his company, his assistant tried to calm you down: "Madam, please calm down!" He shouted.
"Mr. Salvatore, please come over! Your wife is on the edge of the rooftop." His assistant called him.
Everything had driven you to the edge. Your baby had died in your womb because of that one accident with one of his mistresses. And the broken marriage. And? He never cared.
Your life is falling apart.
You were about to jump when suddenly a large hand shot forward, grabbing your wrist just in time.
"What the hell are you doing!?" Vincenzo hissed.
You spun around to slap his face. "I'm not fooled anymore!" You snapped.
"From now on, I'm throwing away the five years of marriage I spent with you!"
"Even in death, even if I reborn again, I will never love you!"
That was your last word before you finally jumped off.
Desperate shout, horrified screams, and the sound of the siren were the last sounds you heard before you died...
Then your eyes snapped open, waking up in your room. Confused, you whispered.
"Why am I alive? I swore I fell on the rooftop..."
You questioned yourself until you noticed the date in the calendar. March 25, 2021. You somehow returned five years ago before you got married.
