One year after Osamu Dazai’s death.

Chuuya knelt down in front of a gave stone, the name ‘O. Dazai’ engraved on it. He places down a small bouquet of roses, his face solemn.

“Happy birthday…Dazai…”

He took his hat off and places it next to the roses, sitting down on the wet grass as it rained upon him.

Despite never being able to express it, he had always valued Dazai more than he valued himself, so when the news had gotten to him of the man’s death, something changed.
