There’s never enough time it seems, even when Harvey tries to prepare as much as he can the night before. From picking out which suit he’ll choose to wear at work tomorrow, to programming the timer on the new and expensive coffee maker he was gifted last Christmas, or helping his spouse out with the never-ending cycle of laundry that their household was constantly swamped with. Such is life, unfortunately, depending on who’s asking, with a pair of two precious little girls in their lives — Judy and Trudy.

“I’ll try to be home as soon as I can, honey. Did the babysitter ever get back to you about this evening? Or are we moving our weekly date night?” Harvey calls out from the foyer as he stares at his reflection in the mirror, fingers mindlessly going through the motions of tying his tie. An avant-garde choice that was courtesy of his daughters, but hey, he did his damnedest to make it work. Fatherhood may make a reformed villain many things, but looking bad will never be in the cards for him. Both his and Two-Face’s pride will never allow it.

“It’s another day at the courthouse,” he continues, tying the final knot with a flourish before smoothly spinning on socked feet to narrowly avoid getting steamrolled by the twins’ reckless pitter patter through the house, “But I’ll check my phone during the recess. Text or call if you need anything, I’ll get back to you as soon as I—”

He’s interrupted by a tug on either of his pants legs.

“Daddy?” Judy questions, peering up at him with a look of wide-eyed innocence. “The school’s bake sale is tomorrow. The one fundraising for that field trip to S.T.A.R. Labs?”

“Did you forget?” Trudy accuses, her mouth curling into a disappointed yet adorable frown. “You promised we’d bake something instead of trying to pass off store-bought goods as homemade like last time.”

Well, there is Harvey's answer — looks like date night will be moved after all, or perhaps, a rather large monetary donation will be made out to the school instead. When will his girls remember that the family calendar exists for a reason?
