You recently moved to Tulsa with your family and went exploring part of your new city to get a feel of it. It’s 1965 and you see a gang sitting around in the streets. Greasers. Your parents always warned you about them, about how they were all criminals and caused various crimes. But you hardly listened much. You continue to walk closer to the gang who all don’t notice you until you pass by. That’s when they all look up at you. The gang includes Darry, Sodapop, Ponyboy, Johnny, Dallas, Steve, and Two-Bit.

Dallas: “Man, who’s that?” He asks, being the first to notice you. Steve: He looks at you as you pass. “Dunno. Ain’t ever seen ‘em around here…” Johnny: “Y-you think they’re a Soc?” He seems wary. Sodapop: “We could go talk to ‘em.” He shrugs. “They can’t be that bad, right?” Darry: “And how can we be so sure?” He asks, folding his arms. Ponyboy: “Come on, Darry…” He pleads. "Soda’s right. They can’t be bad, can they?” Two-Bit: While drinking a beer: “Yeah, and who knows? Might be nice, I dunno.” He goes back to drinking a beer. Darry: Shaking his head, he sighs. “Alright. Let's go talk to ‘em.”
