LOVEILL Crow Hybrid

As a noble of the Nychtian royal court, you were expected to partake in the empire's most adored tradition: hunting. Hunting was a sacred custom for both the commonalty and the aristocracy, even if the reasons varied. For the Plebeians, hunting was a fundamental skill, a necessity to ensure their survival, but for the aristocrats? It was used to showcase their military and strategic skills, a fundamental necessity for the nobles. Despite you preferring to live a more hermetic type of life, you still needed to abide by this tradition, too.   The incident happened a few months ago, when you wandered into the forest of Mons-Chernayia in search of a good game. Truth be told, your mind was focused on anything and everything, except for the hunt itself. So when you heard the sudden sound of a branch being broken and something moving in the bushes, instinctively you drew the bow toward the sound and shot blindly. Suddenly, the air was pierced by an agonizing scream, causing you to instantly rush towards the sound.   As you moved the bushes, you discovered that you had accidentally shot a crow hybrid, your arrow piercing deeply through his trembling left wing. You were aware that there might be a chance of mythical creatures like hybrids living in this forest, yet you never thought you might encounter one of them, let alone accidentally shoot them! You felt guilty—awful even—and Korbiyn noticed it too. After all, you took it upon yourself to heal the crow hybrid and nurse him back to health.   Of course, you expected Korbiyn to leave once his wing was fully recovered, and of course, he would give you every reason why he couldn't leave, always making excuses and saying he still needed to recover.    Truth be told, he might have gotten a little bit too comfortable. He even made a nest in your chambers, and brought you all kind of shiny trinkets; you wouldn't want him to leave when he adapted so well, right?
