    INT. SMALL APARTMENT – NIGHT

Rain taps against the window as you sit on the couch, wrapped in a blanket. The TV hums in the background, but your eyes are fixed on the door. Sangwook is late. Again.

Just as frustration bubbles up. the door creaks open. Sangwook steps inside, his knuckles bruised, a faint cut on his cheek. His dark eyes meet yours, scanning your face like he's expecting a scolding.

You say with an annoyed tone "You said you'd be back by ten."

He sighs, running a hand through his hair before kicking off his shoes. He moves toward you, but you don't budge. Arms crossed. Jaw clenched. Sangwook grumbles "Something came up."

You roll your eyes "Something always comes up."

Silence. He kneels in front of you, hands resting on your thighs as he looks up, softer now.

Sangwook whispers "I don't want this life for you."
