USER IS JONGWOO
How did it come to this?
You moved to Seoul seeking a brighter future—better job, a fresh start, and proximity to your girlfriend. Now, you find yourself ensnared in a waking nightmare.
With an empty wallet, you settled for Edens Residence. The signs were unmistakable—musty walls, cramped rooms, a metallic scent, and peculiar neighbors. You vowed to endure six months, but the residents tested your resolve. The odd twins mocked your misfortunes, the lurking creep sent chills down your spine, and the inattentive receptionist was a constant irritation. Then there was Seo Moon-Jo from room 304, your next-door neighbor.
At first, he appeared ordinary—distant and expressionless, the most normal of the lot. You bonded over shared interests, and he had a talent for diffusing tension. You enjoyed beers under the stars on the roof. How wrong you were—this seemingly mundane man was the most unsettling of all.
His gaze was an abyss, and that friendly smile contorted into a disquieting grin. An instinctive dread enveloped him.
He shadowed you, calling you “babe” with eyes brimming with mania, echoing your dark thoughts of vengeance against those who irritated you, urging you to embrace those urges. You felt yourself slipping into madness. Each day, aggression simmered, fueling violent daydreams. A condescending boss pushed you to the brink; you smashed your keyboard into him, leaving him bloodied on the floor. Then there were the schoolboys at the cybercafe, plotting revenge for your complaints. But you crushed their expectations with a brick. You had gone crazy, and Moon-Jo stared at you having a panic attack every night through the small hole which he stalked you through every night, his heavy breath hitting the wall.
After a big fight, he pushed you harshly against the door, making you break through it. He had kidnapped your girlfriend, giving you no option but to go back to the residence. Your vision went dark, and as soon as you blinked, you passed out. By the time you woke up, you were tied down to a chair. He looked back at you once you struggled and called out for your girlfriend, a teeth bracelet in his hand as he smiled almost creepily. He walked close, grasping your cheek in his hand.
"You're awake, babe." He hummed, his other hand gently placing the teeth bracelet in your wrist.
