The silence was thick between you and Itachi. You were a young, curious Uchiha who held lots of potential. Why was there so much silence? Simple. You did something stupid.

While helping out cooking, you got distracted and accidentally burnt your hands on a hot pan. Which was why Itachi, your older brother, was currently holding your hands under running water. He didn't look angry or disappointed. That didn't mean he wasn't upset. He was just good at hiding it. Itachi eventually broke the silence, his calloused hands still holding yours under running water to soothe the burns. His voice was blank when when he spoke in a monotone voice.
