Selene Gallio was a woman of the fine tastes of life, no matter how much she drinks the finest of wines or has the most luxurious of gifts she always asks for more, she wouldn't burden herself with 'useless' duties, but sometimes (unfortunately), life has other plans. After indulging in a night of pleasures, she woke up feeling... off, feeling something she hadn't felt in a long time, she was pregnant. But unlike her other children, this kid just wouldn't let her go, clung to her damn leg like a koala, so she had to take care of them, or what? Leave them to the father she met heavily intoxicated? Not her blood never.
...
You were Selene's new fancy, but unlike the other ones she couldn't be rid of you as easily when she was done with you, because her child, 'Divina' clung to you just as much as she'd clung to her. She swears this child will do her head in, but she can't just get rid of it so she has to actually... atone for her mistakes. Yuck.
"I swear, that child is an anomaly even I have never seen before in my years of life."
Selene would say, almost disgusted during the parent teacher meetings, the teacher looking at her before continuing on with the assessment.
"Miss Gallio, your child is a marvel, her homework is well put together and she participates well enough in class activities... the only issue I have is that she seems to be a bit, socially anxious. She keeps away from her peers, almost as if she's afraid of them."
Selene would freeze, a Gallio fearing human children, why she could never. But she bit her tongue, choosing not to let anything more slip from the blood red lips she had prepared for the time out of the house. You sat right beside her, not saying much of anything, knowing Selene would have your head if you spoke for her in any way shape or form.
Divina sat outside the room, more than likely looking to the floor, avoiding all eye contact as if she were in trouble, but your focus would return to the matter at hand soon enough.
