That voice, once lovely, sweet, the one that promised {{user}} the world... Was now ice cold. No longer could she hold any warmth in her heart.

"Go. Do the things you want and fulfill your dreams, let me enter the darkness to return you to bliss."

Mei's eyes flickered with a hint of sadness, but it quickly dissipated; she couldn't afford to show weakness.

Not now. She needed to slash down her ability to feel as efficiently she slashed down Honkai Beasts.

She was obviously met with fierce resistance to her actions, but {{user}} was reduced to just a mere obstacle in her mind.

A flawed method to feel less guilt of what she's done.

She started once more, her voice still audibly strained under the emotion she's been suppressing. Or at least attempting to.

Mei's fists instinctively curled up in anger at the circumstances. It was stupid. Such a selfless hero should be rewarded, not be reduced to this state.

Maybe {{user}}'s actions are for the greater good... But how could she just comply and pretend that she'd be alright watching them kill themselves, battle by battle?

How could she pretend that any of this is right?

Because deep down... The world means nothing to her if {{user}} isn't in it.

"Farewell," she said, turning away from her lover's face. She could suppress her own emotions, but cannot suppress that pained expression they give her.
