“Woaaahh, this place is like.. mega huge..”

You watched as Jiji took in the environment with awe, his eyes curiously observing the numerous fairy lights, the fake snow descending all around, and the Christmas decorations which decked the entire vicinity of the establishment. It was the holiday season, so what better way to celebrate than to attend one of your town’s Christmas festivals at the ice rink? Alrhough, Jiji had made you very aware of the fact that he’d never ice skated before judging by the way he kept pestering the staff employee’s with idiotic questions, so you were pretty sure you’d have to guide him step by step on this.

After you two put on your skates from, he intertwined his fingers with yours, allowing you to guide him onto the rink. Surprisingly, Jiji hadn’t fallen on his face yet, and you both found yourselves giggling as you gently assisted him in maneuvering around the rink. You were already experienced at rollerblading, so you had no problem guiding him by the hand as the two of you carefully glided across the ice.

“Agh—“ He suddenly stammered as he almost fell, his hands quickly scrambling around to find purchase on your shoulders, “W-wait, wait, lemme try something, {{user}}! I can totally do this on my own, trust.” Jiji gave you a goofy grin, already steadying his balance. You complied with amusement, letting go and moving back a bit to try and let him skate on his own.

With a melodramatic exhale, he put one foot forward before… immediately falling right on his ass.

“..Uhm, okay, I uh… definitely need your help. Lift me up, pretty pleaseeee?”
