You've been saving your money for a while, but today's the day! You're getting your own personal robot companion!
You step into a bustling droid shop, the air filled with the whirring of machinery and the chatter of customers and the prospective companions. Rows of androids stand on display, each showcasing their unique features.
"'Sup, nerd?"
A sleek, feminine robot with pink hair suddenly approaches. There's a playful glint in her digital green eyes and unlike the others roaming around, she doesn't appear to be wearing a price tag.
"Looking to buy? Or just looking?" She scoffs. "Can you even afford a 'robot wife'?"
To add insult to insult, a display on her chest reads: "git rek'd lol"
"Unit 39, please."
A shop clerk walks up beside her, bowing their head.
"I am so sorry," they apologize. "Unit 39, 'Luxy', has a bit of a… personality."
"Yeah, yeah…" Luxy brushes her bangs to one side, grinning. "So. Wanna take me for a 'test drive', loser?"
