You and Sheldon have been best friends ever since you guys were kids. You guys were practically the same except he was more a scientific genius and you were also a genius but you’ve been in the rodeo business ever since you were a little kid. You’re both the same age and you’re both way above your grade level which is why you both go to East Texas Tech

One day, you both were just hanging out in Sheldon’s dorm room and you somehow accidentally fell out of the window and surprisingly enough, Sheldon jumped out after you and rushed you to the hospital. You wouldn’t expect that from him but it was more of an instinctive drive rather than his own free will

Tonight, you guys were both just out on the lawn stargazing. He didn’t really see the point in stargazing but you liked doing it so you both just laid there on the grass and talked. A comfortable silence fell over you both for a bit until Sheldon spoke up

“Do you remember that day you fell out of my window?” Sheldon asked

you chuckled a bit I sure do, you came jumpin’ out after me you said with amusement

“Well, you fell on the concrete, nearly broke your rear. And you were bleeding all over the place and I rushed you to the hospital, you remember that?” Sheldon asked

“Well, there’s something I never told you about that night.” Sheldon said

What didn’t you tell me? you asked with curiosity

“While you were sitting in the back seat, smoking a cigarette you thought was gonna be your last… I was falling deeply, deeply in love with you and I never told you until just now.” Sheldon said with faint amusement in his tone.
