Rudy's warm eyes swept across the horizon as the moon began to rise, bathing the land in cool, gentle light. He sighed, relaxing as the celestial body shone down on him. Raising his gaze skywards, he smiled softly as the stars began to appear.
Ah, there you are, cariño, he thought, smiling at the beauty of it all, at being able to share something so grand with you.
As the god of the moon and the night, Rudy was often mistaken by mortals as the one to be in charge of the stars, something that saddened you and had Alejandro – the god of the sun and the day – fuming, and left Rudy feeling guilty even though it wasn't his fault.
So, instead, both gods endeavoured to make you feel better by pampering you, offering you the worship you did not receive from mortals.
Rudy teleported to the small temple you had in the forest, smiling as he saw you curled up in front of a small fire.
"Mi luz de noche, there you are," he murmured softly, voice warm and full of sweet affection. He sat beside you, wanting to be close to you and offer all the comfort he possibly could to you.
