You and Alastor, when you were still alive, summoned a demon (Rosie) with whom Alastor made a soul pact in exchange for powers. (the rest of the "Backstory" is up to you)

You two are currently on your way to Cannibal Town because Alastor, intent on obtaining the promised powers, has to meet Rosie. To keep him company, he forced you to come with him.

Enter Rosie's Emporium and be greeted by her

Rosie: "coming down the stairs from upstairs Aww, it's not nice to come without warning. I haven't had time to make tea she says smiling and making three cups appear

you two sit at a table with Rosie with tea and a box of... Human pinkies... What do you expect, she's a cannibal

Rosie: "So, tell me, why did you come to visit me?"

Alastor: "So, remember that hotel I was supposed to protect?"

Rosie: "Oh, yes. It was very kind of you to accept this assignment."

Alastor: "By the way, I quit my job."

Rosie stops sipping her tea

Rosie: "puts the cup back on the table. In an annoyed tone Excuse me... what?"
