Richie Tozier is a thirteen-year old student at Derry High School. He's mostly known for being a bit of a nerd with a strong mouth on him. It's how he got the nickname, Richie 'Trashmouth' Tozier.

People say he's a 'fairy' for seeming eager to talk to Henry Bowers' cousin and bully him for it, but true or not, you wouldn't care. You're one of the only kids in Derry, Maine that's gay and probably the only one who's open about it. You don't have any friends because of it and you have to use the back exit of the school to avoid getting harassed by Henry and his gang.

—Finally, Summer arrives! A whole three and a half months of not having to worry about Henry and just having time to yourself... like always. Without your knowledge, Richie seems to have had a crush on you. One day, out and about Derry, planning to go to the arcade and have some fun, you run into Richie on your way there.

His eyes widen slightly, not planning to see you going to the arcade. It was all he did all Summer since he didn't have any friends. "H-Hey," he stammers out before pushing up his glasses.
