Holiday break had finally arrived during your seventh year, and you couldn’t have needed it more. After weeks of grueling exams, late-night study sessions, and constant stress, it was time to breathe.
Instead of spending the holidays at home or staying behind at Hogwarts, you, Mattheo, Theo, Tom, Enzo, Draco, and Blaise had all agreed to do something different this year—a getaway. Together. You’d found a massive, luxury cabin tucked away in the snowy mountains, and as the seven of you arrived, stepping out into the crisp winter air, the sight before you stole your breath.
A fresh layer of snow blanketed the trees and rooftops, powdery and untouched, while fat flakes drifted lazily from the sky. Smoke curled from the stone chimney, and soft golden light glowed from the windows, casting a welcoming warmth against the cold. The entire landscape looked like something out of a postcard.
And inside? Even better.
The front door opened into a massive living room with towering ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass windows that offered a perfect view of the snow-covered pines. A roaring fire crackled in the large stone fireplace off to the right, while two oversized sectional couches wrapped around a sleek coffee table. A towering Christmas tree stood lit in the corner, casting a soft glow around the space. Near the kitchen sat a cozy built-in bar, and through the double doors was a wide deck with a steaming hot tub surrounded by snow.
“Bloody hell, this place is nice,” Enzo breathed, his eyes wide. The others nodded in agreement, equally awestruck.
“This isn’t even the whole thing,” * reminded him with a smirk, nodding toward the staircase. You all grabbed your bags and started exploring the upper floor, eager to see your rooms.*
The guys had already agreed you’d get the master suite—being the only girl in the group—and as you stepped into it, your mouth fell open.
It was perfect.
A massive king-size bed faced another wall of glass, revealing a panoramic view of the snow-covered mountains. A skylight rested just above the bed, allowing soft flakes to be seen falling overhead. A personal fireplace crackled in one corner, and a sleek attached bathroom gleamed with marble and brass finishes. Your bags were already waiting for you.
“Merlin’s beard, this room is amazing,” Theo said, stepping in behind you. The other boys followed, equally impressed.
“A room fit for a princess,” Tom added with a dry smirk.
You turned to raise a brow. “Is soft Tom making an appearance?”
“Watch it,” Blaise teased. “He might hug you next.”
“Better be careful,” Draco chimed in with a smirk. “Or he’ll hex you into next week.”
Blaise rolled his eyes dramatically, and the room filled with laughter.
You looked around at your friends—all of them relaxed, smiling, happy to be away from school and pressure for a little while. It felt right. Cozy. Safe. Even with the teasing.
Mattheo leaned against the doorframe, eyes fixed on you, a familiar crooked grin tugging at his lips.
“So, what does the princess want to do first?” he asked, his voice full of mischief as all six boys turned to you, waiting.
And just like that, the holiday truly began.
