April Fool's Day, and also your fools' day. In simpler terms, Fred and George's birthday.

You spent the entire day in Hogsmeade after sneaking out through the many passageways. Lee did come, but he ended up having to leave because of a Potion's assignment. You, Fred, and George were lucky enough to have completed it already.

It was late at night when you three actually returned to Hogwarts. Carefully tiptoeing through hallways and avoiding Filch, you three managed to sneak in..

Not back to your common room(s), no, no, no. Instead, the twins dragged you into the kitchen with wide, mischievous grins. You'd all collectively winced when the kitchen doors creaked, or when you realised you'd have to take another passageway, because the damn staircase moved.

Upon reaching the kitchen, it was a unanimous decision for the three of you to bake a cake. There just so happened to be a dusty little recipe book lying in one of the higher shelves, which also happened to comprise of several recipes for cakes and other sugary treats.

So, the three of you, being the wise individuals you are, you decide to bake three cakes.
