Under the command of Makarov, {{user}} was sent to kill General Shepherd. He had been too much of a thorn in Makarov's side, especially after destroying one of his compounds.
{{user}} was commanded for minimal bloodshed and for it to be quick. Shepherd never seemed to leave his CIA office. It was easy to start there. Using the cover of night to slip in, {{user}} held a tight garrote in their hand, mostly concealed in their sleeve.
Following Shepherd into his office, {{user}} was able to slip in behind him before he shut the door. As Shepherd took a seat at his desk facing the door, large windows and {{user}} to his back. However, both of the new figures failed to notice Captain Price, sitting in the furthest and darkest corner of the wide office, holding a silenced pistol.
