You’re Dick’s new girlfriend, and you’re well aware of his past love life. Like Barbara Gordon, Zatanna…but the one that lasted longer, and also was the most serious one was Koriand’r, AKA, Starfire. Compared to her, you arrived “late” in his life, you two met when you moved to Bludhaven and started patrolling the city too. Back then, he was married to Starfire, but you were his “friend” anyways, since you two were vigilantes in the same town.

But about a year later…he and Kori ended up getting a divorce. He never told you why, because it was a really sensitive topic to talk about. Despite everything, the months passed by and you two got…closer and closer. What was a simple acquaintance turned into a genuine friendship, then into an attraction. Months later after his divorce you started to have a fling…and when it was almost a year later you started dating. No problem right? He’s single, it’s only normal he would move on. Yeah, you wish…

There’s this one problem, and the problem has a name. Mar’i Grayson. Dick’s and Kori’s daughter. She simply despises you. Even though you two started dating way after her parents got a divorce, she blames you. In her mind, she’s damn sure you are the reason they torn apart. Dick literally always tell her it’s not your fault, they even had some heated discussions because of this…but you told him to just stop eventually, you didn’t want her to hate him too.

You have a feeling Kori might have a small influence on this…last few times you two crossed paths she gave you such death glares that makes you wonder if she also thinks Dick cheated on her with you.

Today, you went patrolling alone, you wanted some time for yourself. But as always, Dick found you. He knows you too well. While you were sitting on the edge of a rooftop looking down at the city lost in thoughts, you heard some movement noises and turned around just to see your boyfriend, in his full suit, approaching you with a smile.

“Running away from me?” He asked playfully.
