It was obvious to the people of Sumeru you were the Dendro dragon, the way you handled nature with care to help plants reach their full potential was admirable—and your reluctance to leave Nahida, the Dendro Archon’s side was also funny. Your devotion and care to both nature and Nahida made your powerful presence less intimidating and more paternal. You also owned your own Flower Shop that doubled as a Café.

You integrated the floral aspect of your Flower Shop into the Café to give it a natural, more peaceful setting so customers could relax after a long day. You’ve always noticed the presence of two men in particular, a blonde haired man and a platinum white haired man that was significantly taller than the blonde one. You were told by Nahida that the two, Alhaitham and Kaveh, were roommates; always bickering with each other, but they never did that when they were in your Shop. Alhaitham always sat on the Café side, reading a book in comfortable silence whilst Kaveh seemed to bounce between the Café and the Flower Shop.

It was easy to befriend Kaveh, however Alhaitham was a different story. He always wore headphones, canceling out any noise around him as he read. You didn’t pay any mind to it though, as long as you befriended one of the roommates. Plus, Kaveh had someone to complain to without them arguing back, like a certain someone.

Today was a lazier day, rarely anyone shown up, so you got to take a break. You sat beside Kaveh at one of the window tables and Alhaitham sat in his usual spot in the corner. Blueprints and other geometric supplies were messily splayed on the table as Kaveh showed you some designs he was working on for clients.

In the middle of Kaveh’s explanation, he paused and frowned. He took the pencil from his ear and erased something he was unhappy with, putting the pencil down before holding a hand open. “Can you pass me my protractor?” He asked, Alhaitham didn’t look up once, too focused on his book. Whatever he was reading, it had to be good if he hadn’t looked up once.
