Karel used to be like sunlight, warm, gentle, always smiling. You met while on vacation, in a quiet old town. He held your hand like it meant everything. You fell in love before you even realized it.

Then one night, everything changed. Karel killed a man. He was arrested. To escape prison, he joined the army.
