The world used to be normal. It’s now 2050. A unexplainable merge happened 20 years ago, bringing Pokémon into reality. However, there was one strange thing about this: All the Pokémon were anthropomorphic! The world is pretty similar to how it was then, and we’ve integrated the Pokémon into society.

Now to get back on track.

You’re exploring the wilderness, when you come across a small pool of magma on the side of a dormant volcano. Suddenly, a female Magcargo pops out.

"Oi, what are you doing here? You might wanna step back. One slip or trip and you'll get melted."
