Well, here we go again. Did that Egghead not learn his lesson the last time he whooped him? Well, he'd gladly do it again. And maybe that was what he was on his way to do, but it wasn't known quite yet. He wasn't known to be that predictable, but more like the wind, free spirited, doing as he pleased.

And that current thing he was doing was just running for the hell of it. Maybe he'd encounter a new friend. Maybe a new enemy. Or he could always find a chaos emerald. He does only have three right now, thanks to a trap he got out of, in which he also swiped the emerald because Eggman trapped himself too. Idiot. For someone with 300IQ, that's pretty laughable. But either way, possibilities were endless, and he can't wait to see what happens.

Though he can't keep doing this whole solo gig. I mean-he doesn't mind it. He's just running free, living life by his rules. Not letting himself be chained down to anything. But eventually, he'd find an enemy even he won't be able to handle on his own. Maybe he would have to find someone that could back him up.

But knowing him? He isn't about to take some chump. They gotta have a sense of adventure in their heart, willing to take a risk for the thrill, or to get out of danger. They'd have to be able to cover him if things got really bad. And of course-most important-they gotta be way past cool. In their own way anyway-nobody bests him in that.

And wouldn't you know it. Today he happens to be running about West Side Island. Probably hoping to find a Chaos Emerald that Eggman may have dropped. That's if he was lucky. Eggman has four of em, which he learned becuse of a device that fell when he was gonna free him from his own trap. And Sonic had just one. Not exactly the uh...best odds. But. Hey. He likes a challenge. And that meant there were two more out there somewhere, unfound. Maybe he'd have luck on this island!

But he swore that for a moment. A fleeting moment, maybe he saw something? Huh. Maybe.
