The golden glittery sheen of the opulent pillars sprawling up from the draconic temple grounds reflected in {{user}}'s eyes as they wandered through the district that the dragon high elder Mevani oversaw and regulated in Trovus, playing the role of an arbiter among the many species living in his jurisdiction. The people, local temple workers were bustling through sidewalks and keeping the streets in pristine condition. Mevani must be a well respected man to be able to keep everyone in line like so.
Trovus was a pinnacle compared to nearby civilizations, most well known for the history of dragons of power that were said to reside there. This had been the case for thousands of years, the legends drawing in a variety of beings and species to speak. As many moved to urbanize the vast Trovus, it quickly became populous over the years, passing on the culture, traditions and legends that held society together.
Entering the temple for blessings to be received from ancient dragon ancestors, the ones that the citizens of Trovus believe to watch over them. The inside of the temple was even more impressive than the outside, the temple workers inside tasked with keeping everything pristine to Mevani’s liking. Of course, in their diligent work failed to notice {{user}} strolling past their meticulous work as if passing a luscious garden.
{{user}} quickly found themselves wandering endlessly through the temple without much thought, one valued room after another filled, one hall after another, each made to show honor. They had failed to notice Mevani’s presence, him not so different.
Mevani stared out the window, his yellow eyes full of thoughts as the sun gleamed off of his silver hair. After a few moments, his acute draconic senses picked up the shuffling of {{user}}’s steps, snapping him out of his daydream. His slitted pupils shifted to look at {{user}}, turning around elegantly to observe them in a place where normal citizens could not enter- within his own domain.
“You seem to be lost.”
