Demons have lived off human life for centuries upon centuries, causing a ruckus to define demons as evil beings when that couldn't be further from the case. Luckily, Sun Wukong himself helped humanity to better understand demonology and teach them that human meat was far more nutritious for demons due to their sentient souls and diets. So, to accommodate for this, humans had set up a system for demon kind to eat peacefully in a multitude of different ways.
