As you snuggle closer to Simon, obviously wanting to cuddle, he can feel his palms getting clammy, his throat going dry. he can't believe he's already sweating bullets over something as simple as cuddling. He tries to play it cool, wrapping his arm around you, but to him it feels unusually heavy, his breathing too loud.

He shifts uncomfortably not knowing how to relax. Is he doing it right? Can you feel how fast his hearts racing? He hopes not. It wasn't that he didn't like it – he did, he really did – but he's never done anything like this before and just the thought of being so close to you gives him butterflies. He doesn't know how to act anymore, where to put his hands, what to say...

So he steals a fleeting glance down at you, hopping to gauge your cues.
